COACHING USING THE TAROT is coaching with a twist: the tarot is a beautiful tool which allows what is hidden or unconscious to be seen. The cards offer an evocative, powerful and creative mechanism for raising awareness and actively engaging with the change process - in this case, all with a qualified personal growth and development practitioner.
How does Coaching with Tarot differ from going to a Tarot reader? Where a tarot reading is primarily a form of divination and is led very much by the tarot reader; in coaching with tarot, the coach is led by the coachee and their response to the cards creates the direction for the session.
How does it work?We co-create the journey by agreeing the questions we will be exploring together. As we explore the cards we might begin to notice what is here now, what your response is to the story behind the cards. This usually triggers thoughts, ideas and feelings - offering a glimpse into what might be emerging for you, what needs to be looked at and how you might move forward from here! It is a beautiful way of calling forth what is important and any resistance and/or resonance - without needing to rummage around inside yourself to find something.
The kinds of things I will be asking you before the session are:
When we are together I will draw the cards and talk you through the spread. We can then spend time unpacking it together and explore what actions you might take to move this situation forward.
Coaching with Tarot with me integrates key principles of human psychology and behavioural change, including: developmental psychology, life coaching, positive psychology, embodiment practices, and mindfulness. I essentially connect the very best of my skills with a well-developed understanding of the tarot.
What is it NOT is divination or the cards telling you what to do about your question. This is about empowering you with choice, through dialogue and exploration, connecting you with your intuition and inner knowing and raising your awareness of what's meaningful to you.

What you can expect from me
A reading of the cards that has your sovereignty, inner knowing and self-agency as its guiding principles.
I commit to honouring and being led by your inner knowing.
I will use my intuition and experience to offer thoughts and perspectives, to support you, walk alongside you, explore and offer gentle challenge where needed, every step of the way.
Being listened to.
A huge part of any coaching journey is being heard.
I offer my compassion and my intuition - and I am here to listen to whatever it is you need to bring.

not how they are in themselves.'
