A safe space.
I commit to creating a safe, non-judgemental space for you to be in. And I will support you, walk alongside you, explore and offer gentle challenge where needed, every step of the way.
Being listened to.
A huge part of any healing journey is being heard. I offer my compassion and my sensitivity and I am here to listen to whatever it is you need to bring.
A healing relationship.
Pain and hurt are created in relationship and through relationship they can be healed. I offer my knowledge of relational trauma, rupture and repair - and a willingness to offer you a different way to connect and experience being 'in relationship'.
It is always helpful to understand why we do the things we do or feel the way we do. Psycho-education is a really useful way of creating awareness about the impact of our actions and emotions. It also offers a great way of looking at it rationally, so that we don't feel so bad about it. We become kinder to ourselves as we understand that we are, in the end, just 'human'.
