    MENTAL HEALTH & WELLNESS COACHING is a goal-oriented and present-to-future facing relationship. Inevitably, the past has its place AND our focus will be to help you understand who you want to be, where you want to get to and ultimately, to help you achieve your goals and make your dreams a reality.

    Mental Health Coaching is a cognitive and behavioral form of strengths-based support for adults living with mental health difficulties and disorders. Mental Health Coaching is action oriented with an emphasis on improving one’s present life and reaching goals for the future. Mental health coaches use a partnership model wherein the client is an active participant in their own recovery plan, the one who decides what is worth doing, while the coach provides expertise in supporting successful change and accountability to help the client stay on track.

    In this program, clients will learn ways to develop a healthy balance in life, be given guidance in decision making, offered support in navigating mental health difficulties, and assisted in establishing a recovery plan. Coaches help clients to find ways of obtaining and maintaining stability, managing difficult symptoms, rebuilding relationships, finding purpose for living by creating a clear plan of action, and using current strengths to reach future goals.
